Today marks a defining moment in the story of our club. Through a vote of its General Assembly, PEVIC Sports Club (PEVIC SC) has been officially admitted as a member of the Rwanda Handball Federation (FERWAHAND). What began as an idea shared among a small group of founders is now a recognized part of Rwanda's national handball family.

It is our first major institutional milestone — and the moment our competitive journey formally begins.

A place in Rwanda's handball family

Admission by the General Assembly is more than a formality. It places PEVIC SC within the official structure of Rwandan handball and affirms that the club meets the standards the federation expects of its members. From today, PEVIC SC is eligible to take part in official FERWAHAND competitions and to contribute, alongside fellow clubs, to the growth of the sport across the country.

We do not take this recognition lightly. It reflects the discipline and commitment of everyone who has believed in this vision from the very first day.

What membership means

Membership opens the door to the arena we have been preparing for. It means our teams can now compete in the federation's official leagues and tournaments, measure themselves against the best, and represent PEVIC — and Rwandan handball — with pride.

It also comes with responsibility. As a member club, we commit to competing with integrity, developing local talent, and strengthening the communities we serve. These are not new promises; they are the values the club was built on.

The road ahead

Handball is where our journey starts, but it is not where our ambition ends. Over the coming years, PEVIC SC will grow step by step — building competitive teams, launching women's teams, and developing youth academies, with a long-term roadmap that reaches into volleyball and basketball as the club matures.

Each stage will be built on the same foundation that carried us here: discipline, community, and ambition. Membership in FERWAHAND is the first of many milestones we intend to reach.
